About

Security built around businesses that don't have an in-house security team.

CyberFence GmbH was founded to give growing businesses the kind of security coverage that used to be reserved for large enterprises with dedicated security staff — without needing to hire one. We partner with best-in-class platforms like Huntress and usecure, and layer in our own tooling where the gaps genuinely matter, so you get a single, accountable security partner instead of a pile of disconnected tools.

Company background

Founded in Berlin in 2023. Built on platforms that already work.

We're an MSSP built around proven, established platforms rather than reinventing security tooling from scratch — Huntress for endpoint and identity, usecure for human risk management — with our own fraud and payment-verification layer in active development on top.

Small enough to be straight with you about what's live and what isn't; registered and accountable, not a side project.

Founder note

I'm Chike Imo, founder of CyberFence. I started this company because of the devastating disruptions cyber attacks have on both growing and established businesses — and also because of a pattern I kept seeing: growing businesses get offered either enterprise security priced for companies ten times their size, or nothing credible at all. Neither is realistic if you don't have an in-house security team, so that's what CyberFence is built to be instead.

We started with the two layers that were ready to sell — endpoint & identity protection and human risk management — built on partnerships with platforms I trust. The payment-fraud verification engine mentioned elsewhere on this site is the harder problem I set out to solve from day one, and it's still in development for exactly that reason: it touches client money, so it doesn't ship until it's right, not just working.

How we think about security

Deterministic, verifiable controls — especially where money moves.

Our approach is designed to stop invoice manipulation, payment diversion, Business Email Compromise (BEC) and Vendor Email Compromise (VEC) at various stages — hence the development of our in-house Fraud & Payment Verification system, which is still in production.

We favour deterministic, verifiable controls over "trust the human, the AI and the technology" — especially anywhere money or vendor payment details are involved.
